In Loving Memory of David Hershel Polasky
With hearts full of love and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious son, David Hershel Polasky, who was born and entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Riley Maternity Tower in Indianapolis, Indiana. Though he spent only 23 weeks and 4 days in the womb, David’s life was a gift beyond measure, and his impact will be felt forever.
David was deeply loved and longed for by his devoted parents, Benjamin and Stephanie Polasky, as well as brothers Joshua & Michael and sister Hailey all of Goshen, Indiana. From the very first moment they knew of his existence, he was cherished, prayed over, and dreamed about. In his brief time with us, David knew only warmth, protection, and unconditional love.
Though his tiny hands never had the chance to grasp ours for long, they forever hold our hearts. Though his eyes never fully opened to see this world, he opened ours to a deeper understanding of love, hope, and faith. David’s life reminds us that the measure of a life is not in its length, but in the love, it brings — and his life brought immeasurable love.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Benjamin and Stephanie; extended family members; and all who share in the hope of holding him again in heaven. He was preceded in death by those who welcomed him into eternal peace.
A private service will be held as the family gathers to honor their beloved son. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be done in David’s memory, spreading the gentle love he brought into this world.
Our sweet David, you were wanted, you were treasured, and you will always be loved. Until we meet again, you will forever be our son, our blessing, and our little light.
