Still miss my blues man as it was yesterday. I play his CD's a lot and reminisce being in a crowded at the
Heaven Lounge every Wednesday night when Jesse hit the stage at 9pm. The party was on. Rest in peace
my friend "Forever More".

I just heard about Jesse's passing. He was an amazing blues singer, with awesome stage presence. He sang like an angel, and now he's among them. I played piano for him for years in Maryland, and one day we'll jam again.

Jesse,
Jesse was man of many talents, growing up around him was pleasure, mainly because of his singing, he could sing all day if he chose to. He would always remember my face and name even after not seeing me for 30 or so years. He'd alway say come and here me sing "Cuz," and I did. He and his voice be missed.

Uncle Jesse you will be remembered for your infectious smile whenever we would see each other. May you rest from the labor of this old world of pain, suffering and heartaches. We always loved to hear you sing you had such a comforting voice. I remembered when you were competing for Senior Idol on Bay News 9, I voted for weeks online on your behalf that's just how much I believed you could WIN!!! Sleep on and take your rest until the dead in Christ will rise. Love you and will miss you

We were friends from the first minute we met, like the Blues and he loved jokes. From that day on we have been friends. After he moved back ti Florida, we talked about twice a week. He would always tell me "Jim I've got lol for you man". Two days before he passed he said to me, "Jim I'm dying and I want you to know, you are one the best friend's I've ever had. LoL for you my friend,"Forever More"

MAY God bless our family and lessen the pain of loosing our beloved Jesse Yawn.
Cousin Jesse was a Man among men and cosmopolitan at the same time. When my father passed, Cuz was there to comfort me, even as I WAS 'LOST IN THE WILDERNESS' and for this I will be forever grateful. Lay down my beautiful songbird and get your rest, we love you, but Jesus loved you best.....
