In addition to fishing, Jack enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time at his second home in Sylva, North Carolina. He enjoyed camping and traveling as well as playing poker at his home which became a bi-annual event. In his earlier days, Jack enjoyed playing softball with his friends on the Stumble Inn Team.

Parker of Marianna, FL, and Angie Rafool of Winter Haven, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Jack is predeceased by his parents, Mary (Warren) Burkett and Dudley Parker; two sisters, Kathleen Burkett and Claudia (Don) Gusarson.

Jack was gentle, kind and compassionate husband, father, brother and friend. He loved his family very much. His ashes will be buried at sea, a place where he found much peace and gratitude. Go in peace, Jack. You will be greatly missed.
