Josephine Pereira Obituary

Josephine "Judy" Marie Pereira passed away peacefully on December 10th 2008 just 55 days after her husband Ted passed away at the Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton. Judy was born in Titusville, Pa on July 12, 1936 and moved to Parrish, Florida in 1970 with her husband Ted. Judy's biggest role was being a devoted mother and wife. Judy and Ted retired to Bradenton in 1999 where they lived the rest of their years. She is preceded in death by husband of 40 years Tiberio "Ted" Costa Pereira, daughters Diane Upham and Maureen Snyder. Survivors include, three sisters Marnie Southard, Jane Wasilko and Rose Pelfry (Terry), five children; Cathy Boyd (David), Chris Snyder (Marianne), Charlie Snyder (Sharon), Lisa Burke (Cleve), and Jennifer Brown (Shane); 7 grandchildren, Heather, Leia, Jay, Dustin Tio, Joshua, Goldie, and Jessee; and seven great-grandchildren, Nicole Ann, Anna Jane, Luke Tiberio, David Costa, Addyson Ann, Sarah Jeane and Hayden Lane. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial will be held at her home in Bayshore on the Lake on Friday, December 19th 2008 at 1 o'clock.

In the early 1970s I played in a band, "Just Us" with Ted. I got to know both Judy and Ted and we had much fun together. Be strong as they are both in God's arms
