Julia Goluch

Julia Goluch Julia Goluch, 99, died Friday, October 3, at the Blake Medical Center. She was born in Poland to Michael and Susan Czanderna on April 5, 1909, and with her family immigrated to LaPorte, Indiana, several years later. She came to Bradenton from Gary, Indiana in 1977. Prior to her retirement she was a bookkeeper and school secretary. While residing in Bradenton, she was a member of the L. W. Blake Auxiliary and a charter member of the literacy Council of Manatee County. For her thirteen years work with the Council, she was named Volunteer of the Year. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her last years, she enjoyed the friendship and loving care of the Westminster Shores and Towers communities. Preceded in death by her husband, John, she is survived by her daughters, Valerie (John) Flournoy of St Petersburg, ana Mary (Frank) Colvario of Boston; her granddaughters, Mary Flournoy and Sarah Colvario her great-grandson, Ian Breckenridge; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass and burial In LaPorte was on Friday, October 10, with Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte, in charge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238.
