Kristen Svagdis Obituary
February 8, 1975 - October 29, 2021
Bradenton, Florida - Kristen Svagdis, 46, went to be with the lord on October 29, 2021. Krissy Svagdis was a beacon of light born during a winter wonderland in Ithaca, New York, to Edward Burns and Donna Samuell. She spent her life brightening the lives of those she came across. She passed peacefully from a case of COVID-19 and pneumonia after fighting weeks of illness. Krissy will and is dearly missed by her five children; Stephen Jock, Alex Pacheco, Mackenzie Jock, Briana Svagdis, and Micah Svagdis, as well as her loving husband, Gene Svagdis. She will be missed by countless friends, family, lost connections and all those who crossed paths with her. Krissy was beautiful person, wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, and so much more. She was a happy, independent, and giggly person throughout her life. Krissy loved singing her heart out any chance she had and was part of the choir at Bayshore High School from 1989-1993. She loved attending church and the Blessed Mother. Any and all are, without question, welcomed to the funeral service. A Visitation will be 10AM-1PM on Saturday November 6, 2021 with a service beginning at 1pm at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home 5200 US Highway 19 Palmetto, FL 34221. My heart fell to my feet when i read this...these beautiful children were the life of Kristen. I was a preschool teacher for her first 3 as we called them "the jocks" sweetest children . My best friend Ms. Chris also taught Kristen's children. You both are in heaven now im sure GIGGLING at all possible as you both would do daily no matter what day it was.... if any of her children read this look me up i have pics of you all with your mom at our festivals held at Kid Konnection.
