Bradenton, Florida - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Weaver, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Marilyn peacefully left this world on December 24, 2023, at the age of 84, surrounded by the love of her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marilyn was born on July 8, 1939, in Spencerport, New York, to the loving embrace of her parents, Earl and Marion Jarvis of Bergen, New York. She was the youngest of four children, growing up on a dairy farm where she developed a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. She had a special bond with her horse, Hank, which she cherished throughout her youth.

After graduating from high school, Marilyn continued her education at SUNY College, where she pursued her passion for nutrition. She went on to become a licensed dietitian and embarked on a fulfilling career as a food service director for Fairport Central School District. Her dedication to promoting healthy eating habits among students and her caring nature made her an invaluable part of the school community.

In 1979, Marilyn and her family embarked on a new chapter in their lives, moving to Bradenton, Florida. There, she transitioned her career and became a licensed Florida Real Estate Agent. For many years, Marilyn passionately served the community by helping individuals and families find their dream homes. Her warmth, integrity, and commitment to her clients made her a respected and beloved figure in the real estate industry. In 1994, Marilyn met the love of her life, Richard L. Weaver, and they were united in marriage. They created a life filled with love and shared adventures at their homes in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, and Bradenton Florida, creating cherished memories with family and friends.

Throughout her life, Marilyn wore many hats with grace and kindness. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her home was a place of love and laughter, where cherished memories were created. Marilyn's capacity for empathy, her ability to listen without judgment, and her wisdom were attributes that endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Sharon Steele (Jeff), Fred L. Weaver (Dixi), Valerie Blouch, Richard L. Weaver (Linda), Melodie Hoff (John), as well as many grand and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Weaver, brothers, Earl Jarvis, Edward Jarvis, Herbert Jarvis, daughter, Lorraine Haefner, and son, David Mark.

Marilyn Weaver's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family, friends, and the communities she served. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we say goodbye to Marilyn, let us remember the love she shared, the smiles she brought, and the comfort she provided. She will forever remain in our hearts, a shining example of the power of love and family.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the charity of choice in Marilyn's memory.
