Michael L. Mansberger

Michael L. Mansberger resident of Ellenton, FL and Interlochen, MI died Janu-ary 20, 2009; born in Hills-dale, MI on April 11, 1929. Survivors include his wife Jeannine, whom he shared 54 years of loving marital bliss, five eternally grateful children, Kay Lynn (Frank) Duncan and Kari Rice, and sons Kent D. (Pam), Rodrick L. (Tracie), Kirk M. (Kathy) Mansberger, and twelve grandchildren Mat-thew, Kelli, Katie, Kirby, Connor, Madison, Logan, and Carter Mansberger, Ian Rice, Cody and Tamara Collier, and Rachel (Wally) Beard and great grand-daughter, Alaina Mansber-ger. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandson Michael Robert and first wife, Jean. Mike worked loyally for 37 years with Consumers Power in Michigan in the Gas Service Dept. He served 22 years in the National Guard and was a Patriot for our country. Dad was a passionate Professional Shuffler and Past President of the North Shore Shuffle Board League. Dad loved the outdoors to include his affinity for sail-ing. Most important, he was a loving husband, true to his vows, proud father and provider to his children. A memorial service will be held on Fri-day, January 23rd at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church Chapel, 1306 Manatee Ave, Bradenton.
