Nellie V. Weaver Simons

Nellie V. Weaver Simons, 88, of Oneco, Fla. passed away June 1, 2005. Services were held in Morgantown, West Virginia with interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Locally a memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 19, 6:30p.m., at Community Baptist Church, 5500 18th Street East, Bradenton, Fla. Nellie was born in Uffington, W. Virginia in 1916 and came to Florida in 1972 and attended the Community Baptist Church until her declining health. She was preceded in death by her parents Laura Melissa and Charles L. Aus-tin; three sisters, Mae Straight, Marie Hughes and Myrtle Blaney and Frank R. Weaver. Survivors include; nieces, Jane Forman of Oneco, Mary Forman of Bradenton; nephews, Roger and Stanley Straight of Morgantown, W Va.; and several great nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to Community Baptist Church. Manasota Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
