Dr. Peachie Elaine Scarano
Dr. Peachie Elaine Scarano, born October 22, 1958, passed peacefully into the hands of the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2018. Born and raised in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Beulah (Lambert) White. She is survived by her loving husband, children, and siblings. Peachie lived in Bradenton, Florida for 29 years. She was a graduate of Northwestern University, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed her medical residency in Philadelphia where she met and married the love of her life, Dr. Joseph Scarano. Peachie was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a woman of deep faith who believed in the power of prayer. As a Pediatrician, she was dedicated and proud to provide care to the underprivileged and minorities of her community. She was a passionate flutist and an active supporter of the arts. Peachie was an inspiration to many young musicians who she would organize to perform for the infirm. Her passions included God, family travel, fashion, fitness, and horseback riding. My friend Peachie gone to be with our father the Lord.

The last Peachie and I talked we were catching up on old times when we worked at Samoset health clinic.

Peachie treated me like a sister while we worked at Samoset health clinic. A nice person her smile her laugh her telling you the kind of foods she like to eat.

Oh my friend who will be dearly missed. I didn't know I'm so so saddened to hear of her passing.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear that Peachie had passed away! We know her loss will be felt deeply in your family, our neighborhood, and with all the patients and families she served. She was one of the most positive people we have ever known - just seeing her jogging or riding her bike would make us smile. Her faith was strong and lifted many, and we are hoping it will help you as well, as you navigate this terrible loss.

Dear Scarano Family,
Dr. Peachie exhibited the life of a faithful wife, mother and sister. I took pleasure in watching her serve the Lord at Christian Retreat. She faithfully played her flute; oftentimes along with her husband and children. She was very kind and soft spoken, always positive. My family and I pray God's peace and comfort for you all today and in the days ahead. St. John 14:26,27.

God be with you always,
Shiller, Linda & Angelique Ferdinand
