Phyllis Liptak Obituary

Phyllis S. Liptak, 62, of Bradenton passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Born in Lobata, WV, Phyllis' passion was music where she enjoyed composing songs. Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of over 17 years, Ralph; 5 children Tammy Johnston of Sarasota, FL, Jason Boyens of Grand Cooley, WA, Travis Boyens of Bradenton, FL, Cory of Westfield, MA and Lorine of Westfield, MA; 6 siblings Anne of Bellevue, FL, Tronny of Bellevue, FL, James of Redic, FL, Dorothy of Dandridge, TN, Lily of Chestnut, VA and Gladys of TN; mother and father in law Rose and Ralph; 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Molly and Nimrod Workman. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Harvest Chapel, 1300 17th Avenue West, Bradenton, FL. Inurnment to follow at Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto, FL. Funeral arrangements were handled by Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Ft. Myers, FL. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Phyllis' name to Harvest Chapel. www.fortmyersmemorial.com.

To Phyllis family, I went to Chattaroy Junior High school, with Phyllis, Harvey, and sister( can!t remember name). This was 1961-62. They were all very nice people, especially Phyllis, whom I remember as very beautiful and kind.
