Bradenton, Florida - Raymond H. Moore, 94, passed away on January 23, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida.

Born with a strong work ethic and a love for the outdoors, Raymond began his career as a coal miner before dedicating many years to the Michigan school system. He served as a buildings and grounds manager and school bus driver, roles through which he contributed to the daily lives of countless students and staff.

Raymond was known for his sharp wit and the best sense of humor, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him. He found great joy in spending time on the lake in Live Oak. An avid golfer, winner of the Pidgeon Award for golfing, he appreciated the camaraderie and quiet focus the sport offered.

He was a devoted member of the Methodist Church of Ellenton.

Raymond is survived by his second wife, Ginger; his daughter, Barb of Michigan; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen, and one grandson.

A life well-lived leaves behind cherished memories. May Raymond's memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
