Roger Conley Obituary
November 13, 1947 - July 12, 2024
Tampa, Florida - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Roger P. Conley who left us on July 12, 2024 at the age of 76 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Beloved husband, father, and friend, Roger was a pillar of strength, kindness, and wisdom in our lives.
Born on November 13, 1947 in Portsmouth, Ohio, Roger lived a life full of love, dedication, and hard work. Roger obtained his Bachelor and Masters degrees at Ohio State University and his Juris Doctor from Ole Miss. He practiced law in Bradenton, Florida for 43 years. He loved Jesus and was a member of Radiant Church where he served as a trustee for over five years. Roger was predeceased by his parents, Bertha and Iley Conley, and a daughter Whitney. Roger is survived by his loving wife, Terri; his children, Evan and Ashley; a brother, Jeff (Susan) Conley. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and close friends who will miss him dearly.
Throughout his life, Roger was passionate about his family, giving back, serving the community, college football, and traveling, especially cruising. His legacy will live on through the countless memories and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on August 3 at 1 o'clock at Radiant Church, 3938 S Dale Mabry, Tampa, Florida 33611. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Radiant Church in Roger's honor.
We invite all who knew Roger to join us in celebrating his life and cherishing the wonderful memories we made with him.

I enjoyed Roger as a truly kind and nice man who joined as a neighbor on Shore Acres Drive in late 70's and traveled together and shared birth of babies and all the Conley family as exceptional people. So sorry to learn of our loss. Prayers to Terri

I am saddened to hear of Roger's passing. I was employed by him for 3 years in his law office and found that he was a most caring individual, but also fun and delightful as a boss. He will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family.

I have been blessed to to know Roger for 28 years. A distinguished lawyer and a cherished friend. More importantly a great role model for anyone. He exemplified the highest standards of respect, dignity, and integrity. Roger will be missed by family, friends, and members of his community. To the Conley family, I extend my deepest sympathies, I wish each of you strength, comfort and peace of mind for your heartfelt loss. Roger's memory will remind me how much goodness a person can embody. His spirit will continue to inspire and guide me and the many lives he has touched.

So sad to hear of Roger's passing. Knew him to be a kind and generous person just like his mother, "Bert". Good families are rare but the Conleys are an inspiration to all.

I´m sorry to hear this. I´ve had several real estate customers over the years who used Roger when he was practicing and I spoke to him several times. Such a nice and knowledgeable man.
