Ruth P. Heitmann
November 21, 1925 - October 24, 2021
Bradenton, Florida - Ruth P. Heitmann, 95, from Bradenton, passed away peacefully at Greenbriar Rehab & Nursing on Sunday, October 24, 2021. Born in Teaneck, NJ, she was one of three children of the late George and Carolyn (Weigart) Peck. She worked as an administrative assistant for several banks before retiring in the 1990's. Ruth was a member of Key Royale Club of Anna Maria where she enjoyed golf and social activities. Throughout her life, she enjoyed playing Bridge and other card games.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Heitmann; her brother, George Peck and sister, Dorothy Peck and a grandson, Steven Heitmann.
She will be remembered and missed by her beloved sons; Richard Heitmann (Jodi DelGrosso) of Port Townsend, WA and Robert Heitmann of West Milford, NJ; her cherished grandchildren; Laura Heitmann Kelsey, Carolyn Heitmann, and Rowan Jenson; her dear great-grandchildren; Leigh, Henry, and Madeline Kelsey and Alisandra Heitmann.
A private service will be held at time of inurnment at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens.

I worked with Ruth many years ago and consider her one of the kindest and genuinely gracious people I have ever had the pleasure working with..She was so proud of her son´s and spoke of them often. I have thought of Ruth many times over the years and send sincere sympathy to her family.
