Suzanne Mathews Obituary

Suzanne O'Connell Finney Mathews

November 30, 1982 - March 14, 2024

St. Petersburg, Florida - Suzanne O'Connell Finney Mathews, 41, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Suzanne adored her family, especially her three beautiful children that she loved dearly. She had a great appreciation for the arts and music and was gifted at playing the violin. One of the highlights of her life was having the opportunity to be part of a mission team with her father that served in Guatemala, where she assisted in providing dental care to Native Mayans. Her family is comforted knowing that Suzanne reaffirmed her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior a week before she passed.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Mark and Cynthia O'Connell Finney; husband, Anthony McDonald; sons, Lee Mathews and Lyric Finney; daughter, Mattison Mathews; sisters, Quinn Finney, Julianna Finney Emmons and husband, Mike, and Haley Finney and fiancé, Eric Astemborski, as well as nieces and nephews, Gia, Leo, Taylor, Emilia, Everly, Natalie, Emmitt, and Huntley.

A celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the West Bradenton Baptist Church, 1305 43rd St. W, Bradenton, FL 34209.
