Thomas Hannan Obituary

Thomas R. Hannan, Jr., 91, died, February 20, 2008. Born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, he moved to Bradenton in 1977 from Lima, Ohio. Owner of Hannan's Seafood Restaurant, he was a Basketball Coach for Lima St. Rose High School, Lima St. Gerard High School, Lima Central Catholic School, and Lima Bath High School, and a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 833 Magellan Drive, Sarasota, FL 34243. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel in charge. Survivors include sons, Thomas R. III of Sarasota, Fla., James of Bradenton, Fla., Steven of Bradenton, Fla.; daughters, Sandra Johnson of Bradenton, Fla., Patricia Podany of Holmes Beach, Fla., Carol Kitkowski of Bradenton, Fla., Kathleen Steveick of Cumming, Ga.; eighteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice & Palliative Care 5955 Rand Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238.
