William Chancey Obituary

Bradenton, Florida - In our most loving memory of Bill Chancey who went home to be with our Heavenly Father on August 21th, 2022. He was born December 13th, 1959, a 6th generation Manatee County resident, Bill has been serving the public through grocery retail most of his working career. He proceeded in death by his parents, Gilford and Daisy Chancey; and sisters; Karen and Terri; and son, Keith; survived by his wife, Regina Chancey; and children; Bill, Savannah and Sasha; and grandchildren; Averi, Zoe, Leighton, Owen, Sawyer, and Daisy. Also survived by brothers; Michael Chancey and family; and Wayne Chancey and family; and "special sister-in-law," Marsha Wilkinson. An incredibly loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Neighbor and of course Friend. His Wisdom will live on through his legacy, which was to love faithfully, work hard, and trust in those you love. His sense of humor was as unmatched as was his kind words. He will live in our hearts and memories forever. Gone but never forgotten.
Celebration of life will be held on September 11th, 2022 at 1:00PM at Bayshore Gardens Recreation Center 6919 26th St W, Bradenton, FL 34207. Please feel free to bring your favorite covered dish.

As a long time (1977) friend of Bills and family I express my heartfelt sympathies. Bill always did the class act response to the situation at hand. For space sake, I can't mention everything I want to say but he was much more than I could write. RIP my friend (brother) and super hard worker.

Such great memories growing up with the Chauncey family and Bill worked with my Mom at Winn Dixie in Palmetto. Family our prayers are with you and we can´t imagine your loss of both Bill and Keith so close together. May their memories be what helps you move through each day in the days ahead. May our Heavenly Father God wrap his arms around you and provide comfort to you all.
