William Johnson Obituary

William "Bill" Johnson, 74, William from Chicago, Illinois, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Bill was a devoted father, brother, and son, known for his warm and kind nature that touched everyone he met.

Born in Des Plains, Illinois, Bill graduated from Maine West High School and briefly attended Western Illinois University, where he competed on their collegiate gymnastics team. In his mid-30s, he moved to Florida and worked in management for various companies like Superior Patio Furniture, Pierce, and Tuesday Morning before retiring.

Bill is survived by his three daughters, Jessica DuBose, Juana Coronado, and Kenya Laurent, along with several grandchildren. He leaves behind his brother, Clifford Johnson, and sister-in-law Donna Johnson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill was famous for his infectious smile and his talent for making people laugh and feel loved. He dedicated his life to supporting his daughters' and granddaughter's school activities, personal hobbies, and social events. His journey on earth was filled with love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many others whose lives were touched by him.

A wonderful celebration of life was held by the family on Thursday, July 3rd @ 1 p.m. at Congregational Church in his hometown of Des Plaines, Illinois.
