Sorry to hear the news. Our old neighborhood has taken a real hit this year in people passing away-far too early in life. David lived right behind me as a kid. We had a great neighborhood of kids for playing ball and playing games. Great group of kids for growing up with. We always had enough kids for complete baseball, football or basketball games. Nobody made it the big leagues, but we sure had a lot of fun and comradely.

So sorry for your loss. I remember David in my younger years. My Grandma was Margret Hanson. Brian's great Aunt.

Our old neighborhood has lost another member with Dave's death. The Harding-Marion-Hobson-Place-Barbour area was a great place to grow up in the 50s and 60s due to the incredible group of guys, including Dave. From playing baseball at the field on Harding to running around the neighborhood at night, we were fortunate to grow up there and fortunate to have the friends we made. Dave will be missed by all of us who were privileged to call him friend. Rest in peace, old friend.

So sad to hear of David's passing. He was a fixture with the gang at Hobson Place. I remember he brought applesauce cupcakes to a birthday in elementary school. We were all mad! Of course we wanted something unhealthy. I know he will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news that my brother Mike just called to share. David and his family were our backyard neighbors, and he was an unforgettable childhood friend. The world has lost a kind and truly special man.

I am so very sad to hear that David has passed but very thankful he is now with God in comfort and not longer hurting from the cancer. I grew up with David in Bradford until his family moved away. Have lots of great memories from our neighborhoods group of friends through those years. Lots of fun with David and the other guys in his neighborhood and the band they put together. My prayers for peace and comfort are lifted for you all. God Bless~
