Doris McAlee Obituary
On Jan. 29, 1949, in St. Leo Magnus Church in Ridgway, she married Edward A. McAlee, who survives.
Surviving are four daughters and three sons, Bronwyn Hawkins of Erie, Kathleen (Gary) Messina of Erie, Rachel (Craig) Fitch of Johnsonburg, Rebecca (Daniel) Bloam of Johnsonburg, Edward (Linda) McAlee of Lakeland, Fla., David (Kelly) McAlee of Johnsonburg and Joseph McAlee of Johnsonburg; 17 grandchildren, Amy (Shane) Smith, Mary Grace (Jim) Light, Tobias (Terri) Messina, Erica (Dodgie) Natividad, Jason (Felicia) Messina, Aaron (Tina) Fitch, Adam (Beth) Fitch, Emily (Nick) Goossen, Daniel Bloam, Molly (Stewart) Corl, Alex (Jessica) Bloam, Travis McAlee, Calvin McAlee, Karley McAlee, Steven (Amber) Biondi, Shane Bickford and Jacob McAlee; 16 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Shirley Shape of Raleigh, N.C., Patsy (James) McAllister of St. Marys and Sandy (William) Planeta of East Haddam, Conn.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Rosary Church of Johnsonburg with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Leo Cemetery, Ridgway.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
If desired, memorial contributions should be made to the Johnsonburg Public Library, 520 Market St., Johnsonburg, PA 15845; Holy Rosary Church, 606 Penn St., Johnsonburg, PA 15845; or Community Nurses Inc., Hospice Unit, 757 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.
