Duane Gonzalez Obituary


Duane Gonzalez, 44, of 101 Catalpa Street, Bradford, passed away Wednesday, (Aug. 4, 2021), at his residence.
Born on July 29, 1977, in Medina, NY, he was a son of the late Pedro Gonzalez, and Susanne (Gardner) Gaze, of Bradford, who survives. He attended Bradford schools.
After high school, Duane owned and operated A&D Contracting, a painting, pressure washing and landscaping business. He formerly worked at Bradford Forest Products, and later as a Machine Operator at
Kane Innovations, Innovative Sintered Metals in St. Mary's, and Keystone Powdered Metal in Lewis Run.
He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, and enjoyed being outdoors riding four-wheelers, snowmobiles, and jet-skis.
Surviving in addition to his mother Susanne is his longtime partner, Lyndsey Tyler, and one son, Anthony Gonzalez, all of Bradford. Also surviving are two brothers, Darin Gonzalez, of Bradford and Jeff (Sarah) Gonzalez, of
Medina, NY; one sister, Debbie Gonzalez, of Texas; two aunts, Katherine Wilcox, and Connie (Scott) Bryant; several nieces, nephews and cousins including, niece, Adrianna Gonzalez, nephew, Jon Carlos Gonzalez, and
one cousin, Caitlan Bryant. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, Pedro "Hoppo" Gonzalez, and his grandparents, Keith and Shirley Gardner.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Duane's Life from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the City Line Draft House in Bradford.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
