Erma Ford Obituary

YOUNGSVILLE - Erma N. Ford, 84, of Matthews Run Road, Youngsville, passed away on Saturday (March 25, 2017) at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House in Warren.
She was born March 8, 1933, in Guys Mills, the daughter of the late William J. and Kathryn E. McMinn Vibbert. She married Donald L. Ford, who preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1997.
Erma was the secretary at SIDCO Drilling, a business she and her husband owned and operated for many years. Erma loved reading, embroidery and word searches. She had formerly belonged to a camping club and enjoyed camping. She will be dearly missed by her kitty, "Annie."
Surviving are a daughter, Erma J. Blystone of Irvine; a daughter, Mary (Richard J.) Dailey of Youngsville; a son, LeRoy J. Ford of Youngsville; a daughter, Donna D. Callahan of Erie; and a son, Ronald R. Ford of Shokan, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Ford; a grandson, Michael Ford; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Ford; one brother and three sisters. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McKinney Funeral Homes in Youngsville, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with the Rev. Marcus Briggs officiating. A graveside service will follow in Youngsville Cemetery.
