Butch and I used to play basketball together
different teams
but always at his court
at his house
summer winter didn’t matter
Saw him last at his hotel in 2006 where I stayed for my mom’s funeral in Saint Mary’s
Sorry to see a old friend
gone too soon
If They had only had the three-point line when we were playing together it would’ve been epic

From his Penn State days, I remember Floyd as a very low key, unassuming, positive young man, no judgements, no guile. I can still see him studying his accounting books with the door to his room wide open, not distracted by the rolling craziness in the fraternity house.

h this makes me sad. Floyd was my employer at a very critical time in my life. He spent countless hours sharing his knowledge. I had a great respect for him. My condolences to the family.

I am very saddened to learn of Butch's passing. He was always a good friend, as are all of you. I'm forever grateful for you allowing me to be a small part of your family growing up, and will always remember Butch and your family fondly. A person could never ask for a better friend. I extend my deepest sympathies during this most difficult time.
