Jesus Smith Obituary
Born July 5, 1961 in Jerez, Spain, he was the son of the late Ronald and Maria Moriel Smith. He was married on April 18, 1992 in Thonotosassa, Fla., to the former Bonnie Jones, who survives.
Jesus had been a truck driver for over 35 years, working for Midwest Transit, Ill., and various other long haulers.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his garage, the outdoors, boating, and playing solitaire. He loved his Lord and Savior.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Paul (Brittany) William Jesus Smith of Bradford; a grandson, Joel Martin Jesus Smith of Bradford; a sister, Maria Johnson in California; three brothers, Juan (Patricia) Smith of Virginia Beach, Va., Ronald (Indrek) Smith of Tampa, Fla., and Robin (Jacqueline) Smith of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Smith-Morton.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Salamanca, N.Y.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY.
