John Marsden Obituary

SMETHPORT - John A. Marsden Jr., 57, of Mount Jewett passed away Tuesday (July 23, 2024) at Sena Kean Manor.
He was born June 9, 1967, in Bradford, the son of John Marsden and Wanda (Greek) Paterniti.
He was a graduate of Smethport Area School and worked various jobs related to construction.
In addition to his mother, Wanda Paterniti of Bradford, he is survived by one son, John A. (Natasha Himes) Marsden III of Mount Jewett; three sisters, Christine Marsden of Bradford, Amy Colton of Riva, Md., and Deborah Marsden of Athens; and two nieces, Norah and Abby Kinsman.
He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Marsden.
There will be no services at this time.
In memory of John, the family has requested that friends plant a tree in John's memory by visiting the Arbor Day Foundation.
Arrangements are under direction of Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc.
