Lou and I were drawn together by our mutual love of strength sports. Central PA was a small place for big men so we crossed paths frequently. Another Iron Brother gone too soonI will miss you Lou, may your feats of strength live on in the memories and stories of those who knew you, and may your family and friends find peace in the legacy you leave behind.

My sweet Louis James,
You were brought into my life to change everything. You gave us a miracle, a baby Leo. To bring both families together with love. You were my best friend and soulmate. Even when times were hard, we both knew we were meant to be. There will not be a day that goes by when I don’t wonder what you are doing up in the sky. Not a day will go by when I don’t wonder why. Not a day will go by where I don’t think about you and our love. I will miss you and love you until we meet again.
I love you my Louis James.
Your wife,
Emily

It was a great honor to have met Lou. I have never met a man that was so nurturing and had a desire to be so active in his children's lives and the lives in his community. Lou was intelligent with a mind that moved at lightening speed giving him a gift at writing and marketing. Lou has touched so many lives he will be forever missed.

Anyone who crossed paths with Lou has a story to tell about him. He was a big guy with an even bigger personality. He was a neighbor and friend to me. Lou was smart and had an incredible way with words, especially when he would write. I always admired his talent for putting words on paper. Lou was strong. I would support him at many of his strongman events and he would sometimes train me in the gym. Lou was fun. Before kids and any real responsibilities, we would stay out all hours having a great time and laughing. Lou loved. He loved his kids and family and friends. I had the privilege of seeing Lou just days before he left us and I am so grateful for the time even though it was brief. I'll remember him with a smile on his face and the laugh that I won't forget. You will be greatly missed my friend. I know you will continue to shine through your legacy as much as you shined on this earth.

Lou was a great man..and my son.
He had many good things left to do in life, and I couldn't be any prouder of him in how he conducted his life..Any man would have been lucky to have him as a son, and I will miss him terribly.
