Marion Doane Obituary
Born March 16, 1935, in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Leo and Florence Slingerland Teuscher. On Sept. 24, 1954, in Roulette, she married Lynn E. Doane, who died July 22, 2010.
Marion was lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Coudersport High School, class of 1952.
She had been employed with the former First National Bank, Coudersport, worked in medical records at Charles Cole Hospital, and most recently, worked at the West End Motel, Coudersport, before her retirement.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Roulette.
Surviving is a son, Leslie E. Doane of Roulette; a daughter, Yvonne (Sal) Paneda of Eldred; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert L. Teuscher of Roulette; a sister, Muriel B. Valastak of Roulette; and several nieces and nephews.
She preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lynn, a son, Gregory, two daughters, Yvonne Paneda, and Pamela Doane; and two sisters, Evonne M. Teuscher and Elizabeth J. Ryder.
A private visitation and funeral service will be held in the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany, with the Rev. Marty Mongomery, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Card Creek Cemetery, Roulette.
Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church, Roulette, or the Roulette Ambulance Service.
