Palma Walker Obituary
Palma J. Walker, 90, formerly of Limestone Run, Limestone, N.Y., passed away Thursday (Dec. 31, 2020) at The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 18, 1930, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Sara Elizabeth Dinninny Densmore.
She was a 1948 graduate of Limestone High School and she was Valedictorian of her class.
On Feb. 19, 1949 in Allegany, N.Y., she married Robert L. Walker, who preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1996.
Palma had been employed in the cafeteria at Limestone schools and was affectionately known as the Lunch Lady.
Surviving is one daughter, Cynthia K. Wedge of Bradford; three sons, Jack E. (Denise) Walker of Bradford, Dahny M. Walker of Limestone, N.Y., and Dale A. (Barb) Walker of Olean, N.Y.; six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter Christine E. Peck, and two sisters, twins Joanne Densmore and Ann McDermott.
Burial will be in Wells Cemetery in Oswayo.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
