Pamela Crants Obituary

PORT ALLEGANY - Pamela S. Crants, 36, of Bellefonte, formerly of Port Allegany, passed away at Mount Nittany Medical Center on Sunday (Oct. 5, 2025).
Born July 6, 1989, in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Mike and Heather Postlewait of Port Allegany and Lisa and Jim Rotello of Franklinton, N.C. On Aug. 26, 2017, in Odin, she married the love of her life and rock, Jason Crants, who survives. They celebrated eight beautiful years of marriage.
A 2007 graduate of Port Allegany High School, she earned a degree in deaf and hard of hearing education from Edinboro University in 2014. She was employed as an audiologist by Erie Audiology. She later worked as a paraeducator for Coral Street Elementary School in State College, before leaving to be a stay-at-home mom for her two children. Even while in this role, she had a love for working with the public and worked for Robinhood Brewing Co. as a server.
Pam also enjoyed crafting and took on several projects for various people and organizations throughout the region. Pam was an avid reader and shared this passion with her children. She also loved to travel, with some of her favorite places being Disney World and Savannah, Ga. Pam was a social butterfly and always made friends wherever she was in life. Pam was a strong advocate for early cancer detection, sharing her cancer journey on social media and supporting the METAvivor organization.
Pam was the mother of two beautiful children, Sutton Faith, 5, and Micah James David, 2. They were the absolute joys of her life.
In addition to her husband, parents and children, Pam is also survived by her brothers, Willie (Laura) Postlewait of Port Allegany and Anthony "TJ" (Caroline) Rotello of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Heather (Steve) Musser of Renfrew; maternal grandmother, Barbara Culver; paternal grandparents, Bill and Sandy Postlewait; maternal step-grandmothers, Felicia Culver and Peg Rotello; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Leroy Culver; and her uncle, Robert "Bob" Culver.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 9, 2025) at Salt and Light Community Church, 105 Smith Ave., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Pastor Chris Stavish will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to METAvivor at metavivor.org.
Arrangements are under direction of Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Switzer Chapel, 77 Willow St. Online condolences may be expressed at olneyfoust.com.

Yesterday

I met Pam when she waitressed at the Bellefonte Elks club. I discovered that she was from Port Allegheny. I am from Coudersport so I called her Gator and she called me Falcon. She was such a nice and friendly person. The world lost one of its best. She will be missed by many forever. RIP Pam
