Pamela Tyree, a beacon of love and courage, passed away on September 11, 2025, in her hometown of Greenville, SC, where she was also born on February 17, 1960. Pamela's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Allen Tyree, and a nurturing mother to her sons, Kyle Mitchell Rogers and Alex Curtis Tyree. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Pamela's warmth extended to her siblings, and she shared a special bond with her sister, Sherree Holmes (Larry), and her father, Carl Nealy, and stepmother, Gail Nealy. She was predeceased by her mother, Ruth Jones, but her memory continued to shine brightly in Pamela's life. Her family circle included her loving nieces and nephews, Vicki Connor, Michael Tyree, Amanda Walker, and Ross Holmes, as well as her brother-in-law, Ralph (Theresa), and numerous great-nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Though Pamela embraced her role as a housewife and mother with unparalleled dedication, her interests and passions painted the canvas of her life with vibrant colors. She was an adventurous soul who loved to travel, exploring new places and cultures with an open heart. Her creative spirit found joy in making jewelry, knitting, and crocheting.
Pamela's social nature was evident in her love for socializing and her deep involvement with her church family at Taylors Church of Christ. Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and triumphs. The church community, where she was a cherished member, will fondly remember her for her unwavering spirit and loving presence.
Described by those who knew her as adventurous, courageous, and loving, Pamela lived her life with a zest that inspired everyone she met. She faced life's adversities with bravery and always emerged with a smile that could light up a room. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and the courage to embrace life's journey with open arms.
A visitation will be held at 10am, and a memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 20, at Taylors Church of Christ.
