Paul Berlin Obituary

Paul N. Berlin, 87, of 11 Gray St., Bradford, passed away peacefully Tuesday (Sept. 25, 2018) at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.
Born on Oct. 17, 1930, in Knox, he was a son of the late Wayne Exeley and Goldie R. Rossmann Berlin. He attended Bradford schools.
Paul entered the United States Army on Sept. 5, 1950, serving in the infantry. He was honorably discharged on Aug. 11, 1952. Upon returning from the service he joined the National Guard.
After the service he worked for many local businesses including Foster Township Road Department, AirCo Speer, as a groundskeeper and chauffeur at Glendorn, and retired from Best Western.
He was a member of IOOF Lodge #333 in Rew.
Surviving are his companion of 25 years, Norma Troutman, two daughters, Mary Lynne Berlin of Hamburg, N.Y., and Chris Parslow of Bradford; one son, Brian Berlin of Bradford; a stepdaughter, Cheri Campbell in Ohio; a stepson, Mark Campbell in North Carolina, two sisters, Bonnie Titus of Bradford, and Barbara Smith of Derrick City; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Berlin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Virgil, Raymond, and Gerald "Pete" Berlin, and three sisters, Maxine Neeley, Norma O'Neil and Donna Uhl.
Family will be receiving friends on Saturday at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., Bradford, from 10 to 11 a.m., at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Terri Niver, pastor of the Wesleyan Church, officiating. Military honors by members of the American Legion Honor Guard will be held at the funeral home. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Memorials if desired may be made to the Bradford Ecumenical Home, or the charity of the donor's choice.

He was A Great Man, and my mom loved him too and even if it was a short time before she passed away he was the best think to happen to her. He will always have a place in my heart. God just welcomed a truly good man Home.
