Paul L. Zamberlan Jr.

SEAFORD, Del. - Paul L. Zamberlan Jr., 93, passed away peacefully at home in Seaford on June 14, 2024.
He was born June 7, 1931, to Paul L. and Mary Vecellio Zamberlan in Lewis Run, Pa. Paul graduated from Bradford (Pa.) Area High School in 1949, Jamestown (N.Y.) Business School in 1951 and St. Bonaventure (N.Y.) University with bachelor's and master's degrees in business. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He worked at the Hanley Brick plant in Lewis Run; drove tractor trailers in the family business, Dresser Industries; he was section gang for B&O Railroad; and he had 25 years teaching business at Corning-Painted Post High School, Corning, N.Y. He also worked for Roger Khal Trucking in Seaford.
He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Seaford, and volunteered for 18 years as handyman there.
Paul enjoyed sports, traveling, cruises with friends and telling stories.
He was a member of the American Legion, Army Vets and Knights of Columbus Fourth degree, Delaware.
Paul is survived by his wife of 69 years, Amelia "Min" Fyda Zamberlan; sister-in-law, Barbara Meholic Zamberlan; two nieces, Susan Zamberlan (Kenny) DiGioia of Amelia Island, Fla., and Sheryl Zamberlan (Joey) Allessie of Chicago; one nephew, Martin (Lynn) Zamberlan of Harmony, Pa.; three grand-nieces, five grand-nephews and one great-grandnephew; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Paul Zamberlan Sr.; and two brothers, Victor Zamberlan and Joseph Zamberlan.
Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 528 E. Stein Highway, Seaford, at 11 a.m. Thursday (June 20, 2024). Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at 11 a.m. June 27, 2024.
