Terry Bell

OLEAN, N.Y. - Terry J. "Trevor" Bell of Eldred, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Monday (Oct. 30, 2023) at home.
Born in Silver Creek on Nov. 9, 1955, he was a son of Marvin and Betty Repine Bell. On June 22, 1974, he married the former Patti Soules at the United Methodist Church in Eldred.
Terry graduated from Otto-Eldred High School. He liked going to work, and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Bell & Bell, Jack Bell Excavating and Duffy Inc.
Terry was a longtime member of the Eldred Borough Fire Dept and the Masonic Lodge 55. When the weather was good, you could find Terry mowing his lawn and, during football season on Sundays, rooting for his favorite team the Buffalo Bills. He loved his faithful four-legged companion, Gabby.
Terry is survived by his wife, Patti, and his children, Tara (Jeff) McDonald of Gilford, N.H., Courtney (Chuck) Brammer of Virginia Beach, Va., Carrie (Brett) Brooker of New London, Wis., and Cory (Kristen) Bell of Fort Hood, Texas.; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Linda (Joe) Hirliman of Jamestown, Mike (Sue) Bell of Eldred and Jack (Carla) Bell of Eldred.
He was predeceased by his parents.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 2, 2023) at Guenther Funeral Home Inc., 1303 E. State St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (Nov. 3, 2023) at the funeral home. The Rev. Rick Price will officiate. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville.
