Walter Scott Obituary

AUSTIN - Walter H. Scott Sr., 70, of Austin, died Wednesday (Jan. 25, 2017) at his residence in Austin.
He was born Feb. 17, 1946, in Abington, a son of Chester W. and Noreen A. Sharp Scott Sr. On April 6, 1968, in Barrington, N.J., he married Shirley L. Helmbold, who died Jan. 10, 2016.
Mr. Scott was a truck driver employed by NBS Trucking of Bradford.
He is survived by one daughter, KellyAnn (James) Loesch of Delran, N.J.; two sons, Walter (Katherine) H. Scott Jr. of Cinnaminson, N.J., and Joseph (Jessica) E. Scott of Coudersport;
Nine grandchildren, Derek, Cassie, Justin, Andrew, Alexis, Emily, Sydnee, Desiree and Joshua
one brother, Chester W. Scott Jr. of Green Lane; three sisters, Noreen Houck of Berwyn, Lillian L. Free of Genesee, and Susan Scott of Maple Shade, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral services at this time. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., Port Allegany.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Austin Ambulance Association or the donor's choice.
