William Liscinski Obituary

JOHNSONBURG - William A. "Bill" Liscinski, 83, of 624 Maple Ave., Ridgway, formerly of 304 Clarion Road, Johnsonburg, died Saturday afternoon (Aug. 23, 2014) at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville following a brief illness.
On Aug. 25, 1951, in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, he married Dorothy Polaski, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Liscinski is survived by three sons and one daughter, William L. (Coralyn) Liscinski of Hot Springs, Ark., Mark E. (Kimberly) Liscinski of Albrigyhtsville, Richard E. Liscinski of Euless, Texas, and Kathlee M. Detwiler of Ridgway; six grandchildren, Lauren Cooley, Lynn Zitta, Anna Liscinski, Mary Catherine Liscinski, Ryan Liscinski and Caitlin Liscinski; one great-grandchild, Anderson Cooley; and one sister, Theresa Zameroski of Ridgway.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
