Francis Bird Obituary
1947 - 2014 WILMINGTON Francis "Chick" Bird, Jr. passed from this life to the next on Thursday Oct. 9, at his home. He was born July 19, 1947 in Bennington, Vt. He grew up in Whitingham, Vt., attended school there and proudly served in Vietnam. He was an artist, woodcarver, storyteller, lover of animals as well as the Vermont streams and woods. Chick leaves his beloved wife of 44 years Barb; son, Jeremy; grandson, Jakob; and granddaughter, Jadyn. He also leaves his sisters, Linda Bird, Jo Anne Driscoll; and brother, Steven Bird, Sr. He also leaves many close cousins and great friends who he loved dearly. Happy Hunting and Good Fishing with love from all of your family and friends. No services will be held. Eternal Blessings of Guilford, Vt. are in charge of the arrangements.

Barb and Jeramy , so sorry for your loss... Chick was a great guy. I remember spending many days and nights ice fishing with him and my dad.
