Danielle and Kim,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Gary for a long time, but we shared many great months together. Walking miles in the woods, often to the top, he spotting trees to cut up for his massive firewood stash. Reminds me of "Sister Susie" and I panting, puffing and cursing, cause we couldn't stack the firewood faster, than your Dad, loading the truck and throwing more wood down the bulkhead for us!!
The many campfires, all night cribbage games, our Northern New Hampshire moose hunt. Got him hooked on feeding the birds, which brought all the other critters including Mr. Bear. Gary's Wild Kingdom, he'd call it, making all those great mini movies!
Our many weekends with his grandsons, crazy sledding down the driveway, making snowmen, digging caves, hot cocoa, oh what fun.
We would take each other out for birthdays, Mother's/Father's Day, ride the back roads remembering how things used to be.
A Truly Wonderful Man gone but never will be forgotten. At peace, no pain, and probably knowing him, raising a little hell!
Take care girls, Lynnie

As a former coworker and neighbor of Gary's, I was saddened to hear of his passing. We left FiberMark on the same day but enjoyed reunions with other former employees. The CD's of the backyard wildlife that he so kindly gave me is a source of great enjoyment, bringing a touch of VT to my new home in Maine. He was so proud of all of his "kids", please take comfort in that.
Gary, rest in peace and say Hi to Jim for me. Betty
