1967 - 2016 JACKSONVILLE, VT James Barcomb, 48, passed away Tuesday evening January 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. James was born in Northampton, MA on November 29, 1967 the son of Allen and Jane Mannix and attended local schools. James worked in food service as a sale representative for Schwan's delivering food to grocery stores. He had a passion for fishing and was the first mate on the fishing vessel The Black Hawk in Niantic, CT. He enjoyed sports and was an avid New England Patriot football fan and Boston Red Sox fan. James is survived by his wife, the former Jane Coleman whom he married in June, 1996 in Halifax, VT, son, Joey Barcomb of Halifax, daughters, Renee Tower and her husband, Jonathan of Readsboro, and Kristy Dansereu and her husband, Jamie of Bellows Falls, brother, Allen Barcomb of GA, sisters, Jane Duffus of Florence, MA and Jennifer Barcomb of Williamsburg, MA and grandchildren, Grace and Jack Tower. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for James will be held Friday January 22, 2016 at 11a.m. at Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home, 44 East Main Street, Wilmington, VT. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in James memory may be made to the Cancer Connection in Northampton, MA, c/o Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home, P.O. Box 215, Wilmington, VT 05363.
