Leland Coleman Obituary

Leland J. Coleman

HINSDALE, N.H. Leland J. Coleman, 73, of Hinsdale, N.H. passed away suddenly in his home on Saturday, April 13, 2013.He was born in Jacksonville, Vt. where he spent his childhood and attended school.

He served time in the Navy as a seaman aboard the U.S.S. Proctor until his honorable discharge.

Lee went on to be employed as tree surgeon at New England Tree Company. He was also employed for 43 years at Boise Cascade, later known a Fibermark in Brattleboro, Vt. until his retirement.

He had a lifelong love of the outdoors. He spent his free time fishing, hunting, gardening and boating. He was an avid Red Sox and Nascar fan.

Lee and his wife enjoyed many years of purchasing and renovating homes in many surrounding towns of Vermont and New Hampshire.

Lee is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth/Bonnie (Bly) Coleman; and his children, Tracie Warner and her husband Butch, and a son Todd Matthews. He was a loving grandfather to his three granddaughters, Morgan Moore and her husband Edward Freckleton, Alison Moore and her son Devon, Ashley Moore, Wayne Dingman, and their two children Hunter and Clayton. He is also survived by his loving sister Mary Lee.

Lee was predeceased by his parents, James and Cora Coleman and a brother Charles Coleman.

Abiding by Lee's wishes there will be no memorial services in his honor. Condolences and memories may be sent to P.O. Box 656 Hinsdale, NH 03451.
