Marion Lewis Obituary

Marion Otis Lewis, 80, of Alexandria, VA, died on July 25, 2025 . She graduated from Leland & Gray Seminary in 1963, married Paul W. Lewis in1966 and graduated from Champlain College in 1968. She graduated from George Mason University with a degree in accounting. She worked as an accountant for several public health agencies in the D.C. area before retiring to raise three of her grandchildren. She had an abiding love and was very proud of her Vermont roots and planned to have a seasonal home on her Vermont property.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter Marieke Lewis Brock and family, sisters Ann O. McDowell of Canada, Carleen O. Pelsue of Newfane, her grandchildren, former husband, several nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Dr. Carlos G. and Ruth E. Otis and brother Carl John Otis. A family gathering will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be sent to Grace Cottage Hospital, P.O. Box 1, Townshend, VT 05353; Valley Village, 457 Grafton Rd, Townshend, VT 05353; or The Townshend Church, P.O. Box 273, Townshend, VT 05353.
