Paul Turnbull Obituary
HEATH, MASS Paul R. Turnbull 75 passed on 3-11-14 in Greenfield, born Arlington, MA, son of Bertha Olsen and Robert Turnbull. Survivors include his wife of 33 years Janice Boudreau, two sons Clay and long- time partner Indra Tracy of Townshend, VT, son Scott and wife Suzette, Grandchildren Nicholas and Haley of Kittery, ME. Brother and wife Donna of Endicott, NY, Mother-in-Law Elva Boudreau of Gardner, MA, brother-in-law Michael Boudreau and wife Lucy of Mullica Hill, NJ. Memorial contributions in Paul's name can be made to In-Sight Photography Project, Attn: Paul R. Turnbull Memorial Fund, 45 Flat St., Suite 1, Brattleboro, VT, 05301, or on-line at www.insight-photography.org. Donations are tax-deductible.

My family and I were going through some old photos that had been in storage. We found a wonderful picture of my dad that showed a side of him that we had forgotten. We saw that the picture was taken by Paul Tunbull (TEC Art Studio) so I figured I'd take a look online for the photographer. Very sorry to hear that Paul passed away almost 10 years ago. My dad passed away in 2010, but this wonderful photo just brings a smile to the face of my siblings and me. Paul was a very talented photographer and captured the personality of my dad, and I'm sure countless others.

The ‘eye’ Paul helped me develop served me everyday as I view the world around me and interpret it. He was so kind to me. I’ll never forget that.

I was at Hallmark the second year it was open. Paul had his hands full with us. He inspired us all in every way unselfishly giving us his time and gift of seeing. He was also quite human. I will miss him and his warm greeting of a long hug. He was genuine and honest.

Paul Turnbull was a brave man...he shared his soul with us all. I am forever in his debt because he took the time to understand me, encourage me and to accept me as I am. His photos left a profound impression. Paul with Janice...my favorite couple. Love, love, love.

Paul was a very good man and a very good photographer. I've missed seeing him for the past few summers and regret it. I liked him enormously and I had great respect for his courage and integrity. His first year at Hallmark was mine too, but I was a student. He was a talented and fun teacher who made me a photographer of weddings, and then a photojournalist for several newspapers and now a wildlife photographer. Sorry for your loss, Janice, and also the world's. Best of luck to you.
