I first learned of Peter when was working at the Drew University Library in the 1970's. I was working with Mary Alice Amidon's mother, Alice Copeland. I heard Alice speak of her daughter and motherly advice Little did I know that I would live in Brattleboro, meet Mary Alice and Peter and enjoy watching them grow and prosper and be so influential in our world. I attend worship at Guilford many times and watched Peter and Mary Alice with their faithfulness and creativity. THe world has lost a gentle, loving, kind, and musical creative soul. RIP Peter. Alice Copeland had nothing to worry about. Mary Alice married an amazing man to form a life partnership of love and music. You will be missed.
