Toni Bittner Obituary

Toni Lynn Bittner 1954 - 2012 WESTMINSTER, VT Toni Lynn Bittner, 57, of Shady Pines Park died Friday, March 2nd, at her home. Toni was born in Brattleboro on March 13, 1954, daughter of Dale and Beatrice (Petrovsky) Bittner. She attended schools in Westfield, MA and worked as a licensed nurse assistant. She Ioved spending time with her grandchildren and adored her three poodles. Toni enjoyed motorcycle riding, shopping, and participating in the Relay for Life. She lived in Florida for nine years and enjoyed the beach in Florida. She worked at Bartow Chevrolet, at a veterinarian hospital, and Comcar as an insurance adjuster. Lately Toni enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She loved the beautiful things in life. Toni is survived by her father, Dale Bittner, Sr. and wife, Linda; her life partner Rick Stetson; her son Alan Grout, Jr. & wife Pia of Keene, NH; her daughter-in-law Jessica Tibbles of Keene, NH; her brothers, Martin Bittner and partner Shelly Pacheco of Brattleboro, VT and Alan Bittner of Fielding Hills, MA; her sisters Deborah Howe and husband Christopher of Keene, NH, Cindy Simoneau and partner Ray Montgomery of Chadbourn, NC, Mildred Robinson and partner Frank of Chester, VT, and Selena Young and husband Mark of Hinsdale, NH; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; her stepsisters Ronda Anthony of Franklin, VT, Wanda Baker of Orwell, VT, Juanita Bushey of Highgate, VT; her stepbrother John Ballantine of Radford, VA; Raymond Stetson, son of Rick, and partner Barb Pacific of Westminster and Rick's grandsons Michael and William Stetson. She was predeceased by her mother, Beatrice, her brother Dale Bittner, Jr., and her sister, Jean Robinson. FUNERAL NOTICE: There will be calling hours 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14th at FENTON & HENNESSEY FUNERAL HOME in Bellows Falls, VT. Burial will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Kingsbury Cancer Center, Court Street, Keene, NH 03431.
