We will both miss you, Bill! We will always remember the St. Patrick's Day parties and sing-alongs with you at the piano, your visit to us in Florida, and the many visits and phone conversations over the years!
May you rest in peace.

So saddened to hear Mr. D has left us! I too was one of his students who was very frustrated with the fact of having to do my Robert Frost report over 12 times before receiving an "A" from Mr. D! He definitely taught me life lessons that I would never understand until I became older! Thoughts and prayers go out to his family!

A great teacher, who I failed to appreciate as a student, but had come to admire when I grew up and realized what he had taught me. My condolences to his family and friends.

It was a pleasure to work with a true professional. I especially liked that his handwriting was almost as bad as mine, perhaps the only area in which I had an advantage. You knew how good he was by listening to his students and reading his comments on their papers. He was an honorable man.

A great man went home to The Lord today. He was one of the most influential men in my life. He always handled my temper and stubbornness well. He was always there for me just a phone call away. I love you Mr D and wish I could say goodbye.

So sad to hear of his passing but Heaven gained an amazing angel. I took French and English with Mr. D at Whitingham. I will always smile at the memories that he left with me. Truly one of the most talented educators I have ever had the privilege of knowing and learning from.

I will always treasure the discussions that we had about students and how we were going to make them successful. His thought for the day was that "everyone wins". A great colleague who will be missed.

I have known Mr. D for many years he taught my children my husband, he was a co-worker and we mowed his lawn for him. He loved to watch the kids sit on the front of the mower. He was a wonderful teacher that many were scared to have Him not Justin he requested to have him for a teacher.
Mr. Devino I will miss seeing you when I continue to mow your lawn?? RIP. Kent and Heather

Mr. Devino ("Mr. D."), was one of the most incredible teachers I was privileged to have had. Mr. D. taught me way more than just English, just Latin, or just Social Studies; he taught me about life and philosophy, to question why I thought I knew what I thought I knew. On several occasions, he left me feeling stumped but gave me just enough so I could keep researching and discovering the truth and information. Teachers like Mr. D. come once in a lifetime! Mr. D's lessons, ideas, teachings, and more will forever live on in my life. I can only imagine what a fantastic family member he was since he was such a great teacher for me! His death is a huge loss to all.

I was one of his students back in the day. I loved Mr. D. We had a tremendous understanding of one another. He was a great teacher, an even better human being, and I'm glad I was able to call him my friend. He was a huge influence in my life. My deepest condolences to his family.
I can see him now with his upside down thump turning into his palm because my paper was WAY late. At the same time he would say,"what doesn't come out in the wash always comes out in the bleach Mr. DePaolis"!
Hahahaha ;)
Love ya Mr. D!
