Joshua Gutierrez July 8, 2007 - November 13, 2025 With hearts shattered beyond anything words can hold, our family announces the passing of Joshua Lee Gutierrez, our tender, gentle, deeply loved young man who gained his heavenly rest on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at only 18 years old. Joshua's life was a quiet, steady blessing - a soft light in a world that often felt too heavy for him - and losing him has forever changed the shape of our family.
Born on July 8, 2007, in Graham, Texas, Joshua grew up in Breckenridge and was a proud member of the Breckenridge High School Class of 2025. He was talented with his hands and spent his time working alongside his granddad, learning the trades of a mechanic hand and operator. Joshua was the kind of young man who picked up skills quickly, helped without being asked, and always showed up for those he loved.
In his free time, Joshua loved being active - shooting hoops, lifting weights, and skateboarding with his brothers. He enjoyed music, driving around town, and being with friends. His gentle smile, quiet humor, and tender, loyal heart made him someone people felt safe around. He was sensitive in a beautiful way - deeply feeling and full of love he often didn't know how to express.
Among the greatest joys of Joshua's life was becoming a father. He leaves behind his 1-year-old daughter, Elliana Isabella Gutierrez, the brightest light he ever brought into this world. Though she is young, she will grow up wrapped in the truth that her daddy adored her with all his heart.
Joshua fought silent battles no young man should ever have to face, and yet he faced them with remarkable courage. His passing is not a reflection of weakness, but of exhaustion - a soul who gave everything he had until he simply could not anymore. We honor his bravery, his tenderness, and the beautiful boy who tried so hard.
We will forever remember Joshua for: his gentle smile, his quiet humor, his fierce loyalty, his instinctive kindness, his deep, sensitive spirit.
Joshua is deeply loved by his parents, RJ Gutierrez and Kelsie Lee, who cherished him beyond measure. He is survived by his daughter, Elliana Isabella; his brothers, Landon Brewster, Liam Brewster, and Jaycee Brewster; his grandparents, Rick and Adela Gutierrez, and Kinley and Rebecca Lee; and his great-grandparents, Marcellina "Grandma Nena" Gutierrez and Kinley R. Lee, Sr.
He is loved and remembered by his aunts and uncles: Corey Gutierrez, Courtney Waller, Ashley Gutierrez, Laurin Summit and husband Robert, and Alan Lee and wife Claire.
He is cherished by his cousins: Braiden Tribble, Emrie Tribble, Ryan Waller, Corbin Gutierrez, Dylan Waller, Krosslin Collins, Adele Waller, Carson Gutierrez, Juliet Quinton, Emma Nicole Grace Ensey, Augustus Ensey, Darren Lee, Oliver Lee, and Nicholas Lee, along with a host of other relatives who loved him deeply.
Joshua enters heaven welcomed by loved ones who went before him - his great-grandmothers, Alexandra Rocha, Susie E. Lee, and Patricia Ann Morgan; his great-grandfather, Humberto Gutierrez; his beloved cousin, Tucker Lee Boring; his dear friend, Malachi Harper; his great-aunt, Jennifer Lee; and many more angels who now wrap him in perfect peace.
Though the space he leaves behind is immeasurable, we take comfort in imagining him whole again - safe, smiling, and wrapped in love deeper than anything this world could offer. Joshua's story is not defined by how he left this world. His story is love - especially the love he held for his daughter, Elliana.
His story is courage. His story is tenderness. His story is the beautiful young man who touched every life around him.

A Special Message for Elliana
To his daughter, Elliana - You were your daddy's brightest light, his softest smile, and the purest joy he ever knew. Even though your time together on this earth was short, the love he had for you was endless, deep, and unforgettable. He carried you in his heart through every moment of his life, and he leaves that love behind for you to grow up in, surrounded by the truth of how much he adored you.
One day, when you are older, you will hear stories about your daddy - how gentle he was, how sensitive and beautiful his spirit was, and how fiercely he loved you from the moment you were born. You will learn that you were the greatest gift he ever received, the piece of him that lives on with us.
You will always carry his light. You will always carry his name. And you will always, always carry his love.
Your daddy is with you, sweet girl - in every sunset, every soft moment, every quiet strength you discover within yourself. You were his heart. And you will forever be his legacy.
