Anna Ozog Obituary
Anna (Nowak) Ozog, 85, of New Britain, wife of the late Jozef Ozog, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Born in Staniszewskie, Poland, daughter of the late Adam and Maria (Drapala) Nowak, she came to the US in August 1973 and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Britain.
Anna's real passion was gardening. She loved being outdoors and taking time tending to her garden, everything grew to perfection. Her love of cooking where evident at family gatherings as the table was always full of delicious homemade foods. She also loved to travel. Anna will be deeply missed by all.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother she is survived by her son: Stanley Ozog and his wife Trina of Vinton, VA; her daughter Elizabeth Sowislo and her husband Dariusz of New Britain; her grandchildren: Daniel & Ania Ozog and Christopher Ozog; her great grandchildren: Michelle, Aisha & Maya Ozog.
Relatives and friends are invited direct to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, March 2nd at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery in New Britain. To share a memory with her family, please visit us at www.duksa.net.
