Charlotte Crockett Obituary

TERRYVILLE

Charlotte Crockett, 76, of Terryville, passed away Wednesday, November 22,

2023, at Bristol Hospital. She was born December 2, 1946, in Whitinsville, MA, daughter of the late Thomas L. and Evelynn (Hix) Crockett.

Prior to her retirement, Charlotte was employed by Cardio Thoracic Surgical Associates at St. Francis Hospital. She was a member of the Terryville Congregational Church, the Plymouth Grange, the Red Hat Society and the Terryville Plymouth Senior Citizen.

Charlotte is survived by her brother William Crockett and his wife Lori-Ann and her nephew Ian Crockett. Besides her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas L. Jr., and David B. Crockett, and her sister Martha Crockett.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday, December 1, at the Terryville Congregational Church, 233 Main St, Terryville. Burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St, Terryville, is assisting with the arrangements. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com

Charlotte was a big influence in my life. She encouraged me to get involved. With Sunday school, Joining committees, Bible Study, joining the bell and Singing choirs. Lynda, David Kayla, Steven and I will miss her very much. She truly was God's faithful servant. Sending our condolences. Sincerely Linda Avery.
