It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Doreen (Zebrowski) Dougeneck, who left us on Wednesday, November 6, 2025 after a brave and dignified fight with cancer. True to her nature, she met her illness with courage, grit, and a touch of humor the same way she faced every challenge in her life.
A celebration of her remarkable life will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, November 14 at Luddy Funeral Home 205 South Main St, New Britain, CT 06051. Prayer service begins at 3 p.m..

Earlier today
I met Doreen when she was working at Hamilton (Standard) Sunstrand. We became friends quickly and I enjoyed her sense of humor and personality. I was transferred to another facility at UTC and lost contact with her. I did run into her around town on occasion. Condolences to the family. RIP my friend.
