Florence Gosselin Obituary

BRISTOL

Florence Gosselin, 97, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 6, 2024. She was born on February 18, 1927 in Thomaston, CT the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Stone. Florence retired from Shop Rite in Bristol where she worked as a bookkeeper and was a long-time member of St. Joseph Church. She married Leonard Earl Gosselin, Sr. in 1952 and were married for 52 years before his passing in 2005. She is survived by her children Cynthia Gosselin of Unionville, Kathy Newsom and her husband Carey of Tucson, AZ, Susan Nooney of Unionville, Alan Gosselin of Bristol and Carol Pearlingi and her husband Robert of Bristol; eight grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Leonard Gosselin, Jr. and her siblings Bertha, Iola, Mary and Fred. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 10, 2024 directly at St. Joseph Church, Queen St., Bristol at 10 a.m., followed by a procession to St. Joseph Cemetery, 169 Farmington Ave., Plainville.
