Frank Anthony Dolce, 78, of Cocoa Beach, FL, formerly of Bristol, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, in Cocoa Beach, FL. Born on August 29, 1946, in New Britain, CT, Frank lived a life rooted in family, faith, and service to his community. Frank was raised in Bristol where he graduated from St. Anthony High School. He pursued higher education with dedication, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Connecticut State University and later obtaining his Master's degree from the University of Hartford. His passion for learning translated into a lifelong career as an educator. For 34 years, Frank served the Bristol School system with commitment and care, teaching across various schools and age levels. His influence extended beyond the classroom as he coached youth sports teams, including his sons' Little League team and the St. Anthony School basketball team. In addition to his work in education, Frank was a licensed real estate agent for over four decades. He played an active role in numerous home sales throughout the area and at one time owned several multifamily properties. His entrepreneurial spirit was matched by his deep sense of responsibility to those he served. A man of many interests and talents, Frank enjoyed playing golf and racquetball in his younger years. A passionate sports fan, he followed the New York Yankees faithfully and cheered on UCONN Basketballespecially proud to have attended the UCONN Women's Final Four in New Orleans. Frank was deeply involved in civic life. He served as Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Palos Council #35 and held leadership roles such as Teachers Union Steward, Chairman of the Inlands/Wetlands Committee, member of the Democratic Town Committee, and President of St. Anthony School PTO. His commitment to public service reflected a lifelong dedication to improving the lives of others. His Catholic faith was central to who he was. As a Eucharistic Minister for many years at St. Anthony Church, some of Frank's most treasured memories were serving on the altar alongside his sons when they were altar boysa testament to both his spiritual devotion and love for family. Frank took great pride in his Italian American heritage. As a first-generation American who graduated college alongside his siblings, he embodied perseverance and gratitude for opportunity. Whether spending time with loved ones at Hawks Nest Beach in Old Lyme, CT or enjoying the sun-soaked shores of Cocoa Beach in Florida, Frank found joy in simple moments shared with family. He will be missed but his family will carry on his legacy. Frank's devotion to his family was unwavering. He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn of nearly 57 years; sons: Anthony and his wife Lori, and Frank and his wife Marisa; as well as five cherished grandchildren: Julia, Michael, Anthony John AJ, Frank, and Isabella. He also leaves behind his sister Marie Kunkler and husband, Tom, and brother Ralph Dolce and wife, Karen, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Filomena (Casadonte) Dolce. Calling hours will be held on Friday (May 23, 2025) between 4 and 6 p.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol. Funeral services will be held Saturday (May 24, 2025) at 10 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home to St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol, for a Mass of Christian Burial celebration at 11 a.m..
